Bring Your Own Bunny at Japan's rabbit cafe

See how ingenious the Japanese are! : ) This is a bunny cafe located in the Japanese city of Nagoya. It allows pet owners BYOB (Bring Your Own Bunnies) or pay a 60p a minute to cuddle the "resident bunnies".

**However, I hope the cafe could provide some maize/floor mats on the wire grills of the bunnies' cages. I'm sure the bunnies would be grateful for that extra comfort to their feet whilst in their cages. **

Out of Stock - Bobtail Timothy Hay

We will have to disappoint bunny fans of the Bobtail Hay. The latest batch of Bobtail Hay we received is of quite low quality. Hence, we are not taking any chances and have decided to return all bales to the supplier. Sadly, the next batch of hay will only arrive next month (Oct). We will update again once a nice fresh batch of hay is here. In the meantime, have some patience, bunnies! And do try out the other brands of hay we have in the store.

Wow, its Sep already!

Its been really a long time since we managed to update our latest news here! It has been difficult keeping up with our updates as we had been so busy fulfilling your orders! However, no fret, we will try our very best to keep you abreast of the happenings at the barn. For a start, we are very happy that we have some new exciting products from Rosewood Pet to introduce to you! We will be adding them to our webstore very soon - so do stay in tune!

We will be increasing the price of the Breeder Celect and Back to Nature Cat Litter very soon. :(

I know... so many prices are all on the rise - rice, petrol, bus fares - and now bunny supplies too. We have, so far, been absorbing the increase in price of the BC and B2N from our supplier but we are no longer able to do that due to our ever-rising operating cost (GST and petrol prices).

From 15th April, new prices for BC and B2N will be as follows:
6 litres pack - S$8.30
15 litres pack - S$17.80
35 litres pack - S$38.00

Still, there are reasons for some cheer. There will still be the Make it 2! Special, so buy 2 packs at S$67.50!

We want to keep you, our loyal customer, informed of the new prices so that you can make suitable arrangements before the price hike. Do let us know how we can help should you have any further queries. Thanks!

The Busy Barn's very first pushcart!

We survived our very first pushcart! :)

It was great seeing alot of our friends coming down to our pushcart to pick up a toy or two for their furry friends at home. We met some new friends too. We hope through our pushcart, you guys could learn more about us, our products as well as new tips on bunny care.

We will improve as we go along. So the next time you see us at our pushcart, I'm sure there will be new surprises in store.

Do give us your feedback too; help us to improve. We would love to hear from you.

And.. more of us this coming weekend at the National Library (Ground floor of Events Plaza area). Till then!

The Busy Barn is going places!

We have been receiving alot of enquiries asking if we have a shop front or whether its possible to see/touch our range of products. We have been trying to keep our overheads low so that we could continue to bring quality products to our customers at affordable prices. So looks like setting a physical shop is not feasible for us at the moment.

But we thought a pushcart might suit us. We could move around the island, provide our products, services and rabbit knowledge to more people at different places in Singapore and yet keep prices down. So we grabbed the chance when the opportunity for a push cart at the National Library came along!

We will be having our very 1st pushcart at the National Library on 29th & 30th Sept. Do come and visit us. We will try to bring down as many items as our dear old mini car can take. :) If you have any item(s) in mind that you would like to buy or see, please inform us in advance so that we could bring those along.

Planning ahead, we aim to hold our pushcarts on at least 2 weekends of each month. We will be putting up the dates on our website (http://www.thebusybarn.com.sg/) once the date and venue is confirmed. Here are the tentative dates for the month of October, November and December.

We are back!

Yes. We know our last post was on 2nd June!! Our sincere apologies! We hope you've not waited for too long.

You must be wondering what we have been busy with..? We have indeed been very busy trying to get new and exciting stuff for your bunnies! We've included many new items over the month of July and Aug - Bunny bowls, carriers, willow toys, willow shelters, as well as some new treats and not forgetting our new straw mats.
